Not too much. You don't want to over do it. When I first started out I used mascara concelar and little bit of blush. And sometimes eyeliner.

It depends on your personal preference in my opinion. just do whatever you're comfortable with, you shouldn't limit yourself just because you're just starting(:

I would look up some YouTube videos to help, but really just do some research and find what you may like. I would recommend practicing a lot with the products you do use just so you don't look like a clown. Trust I look back to when I started and thought I knew everything and thought I did my makeup like a pro, boy was I wrong

Its up to your preference of how much makeup you want to use just make sure you know how to apply it so you don't look like a total cake face. What makeup to use depends on what you are wanting to enhance on your face. I think its important to understand that makeup is to ENHANCE your natural beauty and not to cover and hide your natural beauty. Please remember that. :)
Primer- This makeup product is used to prep your face for foundation so it goes on smoother and allows your foundation to last longer. For a super basic makeup look you can just put on primer to your face to make your skin smooth and matte. I suggest the Rimmel Fix and Perfect Pro primer (the one with a blue cap)
BB cream- This is an all-in-one product. It moisturizes your skin, and gives a light coverage while also giving you sun protection. A BB cream is perfect when you don't have many blemishes to cover or you want a product that feels lighter on your skin than foumdation, or if you want a product that you can apply faster than foundation. You don't have to use a primer under this. A CC cream is the same thing except it gives you more coverage. As a beginner I suggest the Maybelline BB cream. You can just apply this with your fingers.
Foundation- Foundation is to use all over your face to even out your skin tone and cover any blemishes. You can use a brush or a makeup sponge but I suggest not using your fingers to apply a foundation because it will not apply as evenly and smooth. I suggest using a primer underneath a foundation so that way it will last longer and your foundation will go onto your skin better. A good foundation for beginners is the Loreal True Match foundation because it is so blendable, comes in so many colors, and never looks cakey.
Powder- Powder is used to set foundation, BB cream, or concealer to mattify your skin and allow your makeup to last longer. I sugest the Rimmel Stay Matte powder.
Concealer- Concealer is to cover blemishes, pimples, or dark coloration under the eyes. To cover pimples and blemishes use a color that is your exact skin color. For undereyes use a color that is 2-3 shades lighter than your skin color. You can also use concealer color correctors. Use a green concealer on red blemishes, and a pink concealer underneath your eyes to combat dark undereyes. Set your concealer with a powder. I suggest the Maybelline Fit Me concealer.
Bronzer- Use this sparingly. Bronzer gives you a glowy, sun kissed look. Use this across your cheek bones, your temples, nose, and the center of your chin. My favorite is the Estee Lauder bronzer in Sun Goddess.
Blush- Use sparingly. This is to apply on your cheeks to add color to your face. I sugest the Milani Baked Blushes because they come in beautiful colors.
Eyahadow- Fun stuff. You can experiment with a lot of eye looks to enhance your eye color. I suggeat the Almay eyeshadows because they have eyeshadow pallettes to compliment your eye color.
Eyeliner- Intensifies and makes your eyes stand out. Your can apply this along your tightline to make it look like you have fuller lashes, or on the top of your lashline, or on your lower lashline, or on your waterline. A white eyeliner on your waterline makes your eyes appear larger. You can do this to enhance your eyes. The eyes are the mirror to the soul.
Mascara- This makes your lashes thicker, longer, and gives them volume. Mascara is a must-have in my opinion. I sugest Revlon Dark Lacquer mascara.
Lipstick- Temporary lip color.
Lip stain- Temporary lip color that lasts muxh longer and gives a very natural look. Much more natural look than lipstick.
Lip Gloss- Can be worn over lipstick or lipstain or alone. This gives lips a shine or color.
** As a beginner I suggest using BB cream, concealer, mascara, and blush. I've supplied a list of products above so you know what else is out there and you have a better idea of what you might want in makeup. Good luck :) Makeup is a fun thing to play with.
