I got a $50 sephora gift card for christmas which enables me to get more expensive stuff! I've been specifically looking into Limecrime because of the great reviews. I'm looking for more neutral shades aka nothing too bright. Recommendations on shades would be amazing!

Sephora doesn't carry Lime Crime.

Well unfortunately Lime Crime isn't available at Sephora, but I really like their Velvetine in Cashmere, it's so pretty. It's a very grey nude shade though so it may not be for everyone but it's nice if you like neutral with a little something extra.

I recently read (on sephoras website) they were now carrying it?

Hannah thats a gorgeous color but I don't think it would look good with my skin tone :(

No, they don't carry it unfortunately. They may start carrying it in the future (thought I find that unlikely since Lime Crime has somewhat of a bad/dramatic reputation) but they currently do not.

Well I also love Suedeberry :) it isn't super bright, but it is such a pretty coraly pink shade! I adore it.

Hmm that's weird... They were selling the brand when it was 20% off VIB sale..

Yes, LC was being sold at Sephora for a couple of days but the partnership did not last.

There's a thread on great things to get from sephora a few posts under this one since they don't carry what you wanted.

If you google lime crime controversy it'll come up with all the negative things happening there, most of it has to do with their shadows though I believe.

I couldn't resist- I googled Lime Crime controversy and oh my gosh! I won't be buying from them!

Haha Kathryn I know at first I was like meh it's makeup companies just competing... But then I googled it and I was appalled! How they treat their customer base, how they don't care about other companies it even the safety of our skin. It completely turned me off of their products.

Sephora doesn't carry Lime Crime, so you can save your gift card for another awesome product! :) But if you still decide to order from Lime Crime, I'd suggest Unicorn Lipstick in Coquette (which is a peachy nude), Babette (which is a bit more pink than Coquette), Great Pink Planet (pastel pink), Cosmopop (pastel peachy orange) and the Velvetines in Cashmere (neutral grey / beige).
I'm guessing Sephora pulled the products because they didn't want their name to be associated with LC's controversy?
