So I've been thinking of dying my hair this color but I don't know what color it is and where to buy the dye or professionally done.. So please tell me what color this is :)

I love this colour. I dyed my hair a red colour last year with a semi-permanent dye by loreal in strawberry kiss. Since my hair is very dark, it didn't make it as red as I wanted it to, but in the sunlight my hair looked like that picture :)
I'm afraid I don't know any permanent dyes like strawberry kiss as I've never permanently dyed my hair before haha

Garnier Nutrisse has a color similar to this called intense red :) I love this color too!

Also, just throwing this out there, you can also use tropical punch kool aid as well! :)

Loreal hicolor hilights in deep auburn red also. :) I had this hair color exactly but I decided to go a bit brighter. You can get it at Sally's for pretty cheap. If you have any questions lemme know. I've been dying my hair red for two years now

Agree with Tessandra, I've use the garnier nutrisse red and it came out pretty similar. :)

I suggest the loreal highlights Bc I've heard good reviews about it but the thing is you am can't really ever get all the red out my friend had that color and it's been a while and it still has slight red and she hates it bc you can see her light brown roots and she doesn't wanna re dye it the only way to get it back is by bleaching it.

With the loreal hi color, you don't have to bleach it^
I had a similar color with the loreal hicolor and 20 developer.

Thank you so much girls!! Should I do it my self or get it done at the salon?

I personally do not recommend going to the salon. I've had several friends get their hair dyed red at the salon, only for the color to fade to a pink/brown within a week. Plus the salon dye fried their hair. I personally recommend doing it at home first. It's cheaper, so if it doesn't work as well as you want at least you didn't spend a bunch of money for nothing. :)

Tips to keep the color:
-Don't wash your hair everyday, it'll strip the color faster and it hurts your hair.
-Use a Color Shield shampoo and conditioner, I personally recommend the Garnier Nutrisse Color Shield ones (I'm a huge Garnier person lol)
-Wash/rinse your hair with lukewarm to cold water.
-Use sulfate free shampoos
-Try to use as little heat on your hair as possible (and try using a heat protecting product)
That's all I've got for you :) I hope I helped! Xx

To what Tessandra said earlier, I wouldn't use kool aid in my hair. My friend used it once and she told me it ruined her hair.

@Alice, do you know how she applied hers? A friend of mine had the same experience but she did it a different way than I did. you can see my kool aid hair in my profile pic, it didn't ruin my hair. Also it does depend on the type of hair a person has. It could be that I just had the right hair type. I guess you never know until you try :)
