I finally hopped on the bandwagon and tried the Revlon Colorstay liquid foundation for combo/oily skin. I must say, I'm impressed! 150 is a perfect match.
I pair it with the Rimmel stay matte primer, for reference.
I noticed that it's really hard to
blend this foundation without it being streaky. Does anyone else have this issue? How can I fix this? Is it the primer? Nothing annoys me more than thinking I've buffed my face to almost perfection, and then seeing a splotchy streaky area! It takes me forever to get it even.

What are you using to blend it out?

I spread it around my face with my fingers just to make sure it's actually getting around my face, then smooth it in like lotion (so pro lol), and finally take a buffing sponge (one of the Sonia Kashuk ones) and literally just buff without any rhyme or reason like I normally do to liquid foundations. It's worked in the past for everything else, thick and thin consistency.

Try doing sections of your face instead of all of it at once. This foundation sets really fast so that why it might be hard to blend.

I had the problem too. what I just do is double check the areas that are usually streaky for me (nose, chin, around eyebrows) and smooth it with a simple makeup sponge.

Yeah you just need to work with it, keep blending, but try to blend it out fast before it sets.

Try using a flat top kabuki brush like the sigma f80 is literally changed my makeup application as I too had the same problem with revlon colorstay when just using my finngers...stipple is on with a brush or sponge..

I do mine in sections, also I find that a stippling brush works suuuper well to make it look really blended in. I used to rub it in with my fingers like you do but trust me dotting it on& stippling/blending it in makes it look soooo much better! :)
