I am on the hunt for a foundation that helps keep me matte. I have tried sooooo many and the only one that works is the Revlon colorstay whipped. The ones that did not work for me are
-revlon colorstay (liquid)
-revlon nearly naked
-garnier bb cream for oily skin
-covergirl whipped foundation
-covergirl ready set gorgeous
- maybelline dream matte mousse
none of these have worked for me and I was wondering if you guys could help me out. doesn't matter what kind of product you recommend I am will to try everything. high end or drugstore , and to add to it can you also recommend any primers or powders for oily skin it would really help , thanks :)

Hourglass immaculate foundation is pretty much the Messiah of oily skin foundation (imho). Stila stay all day foundation is also pretty great. as for powders I like Nars light reflecting setting powder (the loose one). although I found with hourglass you don't really need a setting powder

I find estee lauder double wear and lancome teint idole both great for oily skin. I like rimmel stay matte and mac blot powder. The primers I like are smashbox pore minimizing primer, benefit porefessional, lancome la base pro and smashbox photo finish primer.

Cover girl 3 in 1 for drugstore and Kat von d lock it for high end. the Kat von d you really have to work with and use only a beauty blender in my opinion but its the only foundation that keeps me completely matte. I want to try the hourglass that Kelly recommended though

I use the Mary Kay matte wear liquid foundation and I love it. I set it with the Mary Kay mineral loose powder and I stay oil free for almost the entire day. I would also love to try the hourglass foundation but for know I will stick my Mary Kay.

Lancome teint idole is my new holy grail. it's amazing! 2nd place is the hourglass immaculate. that has the best all day mattifying look, but I'm in love w/ the finish of the lancome.

I also gave up traditional primers and use a mix of mac strobe cream and mac oil control lotion prior to applying my foundation, I set my makeup with mufe pro finish pressed powder and rcma no color powder (:
