Hello everyone! I've been wanting to try the Tartes Amazonian airbrushed powder foundation, and the bareminerals matte foundation for my acne prone oily skin, can anyone give me any reviews or opinions on these two products? I'm looking for something that's medium to full that can cover acne scars and want to see which powder foundation can give me the best results. Also, would anyone say that the airbuki brush is worth purchasing for the tarte foundation? Thank you!

Really? I'm sorry to hear that. An esthetician recommended bareminerals to me but I've been scared to try it out

I use the lorac powder fondation and it works very well for me. I also have acne prone skin and it doesn't make me break out. Search for lorac wet n dry powder hope was able to help 😃

I love mineral foundation. My favorite is from Merle Norman and it makes my skin look amazing. I always get asked what I use and most people are surprised I get such good coverage with it. I have also tried a sample of Philosophy's at its really great too. I'm not really a fan of Bare Minerals (I do like the Mineral Veil, but thats just a setting powder) and I have heard great things about Tarte's too.

I have also tried several different types of kabuki brushes and my favorite is Elf's (not sure which one exactly as far as the name goes because they have more than one, but its black and white; and I think its like $6).

I absolutely love Tarte's powder foundation. I'm acne prone and it doesn't irritate my skin, and it covers really well - in my experience (I also, depending on the time of the month, have a lot to cover). I thought the price of the airbuki was a little ridiculous but I finally broke down and got it. Wow it is probably my favorite foundation brush combo. The airbuki is fantastic for buffing in the foundation and it fits perfectly into the foundation netting, applying a good amount. Never tried the BareMinerals one, but it look like it'd be similar? I've never had superb experience with BM though. I think I'll always prefer Tarte.
