Awe your soo cute! Your hair looks pretty flat and maybe thin? (Just going by your fishtail) to go heatless and not permanent I'd suggest doing lots and lots of rag curls. I have a photo in my profile of my hair done up with rag curls, I used larger sections so my curls are quite as tight, but the smaller the section the tighter the curl!

If you want permanent you can always get a perm which would last around six months otherwise do rollers or braid overnight while hair is still damp

Her hair looks naturally curly. But at best you can use a 1/2" inch curling iron or a perm rod set if you want to go heatless.
