Hey guys!
So, this winter my skin has been unbelievably unmanageably dry, more than usual. As winter comes, of course my skin gets drier, but this year it's been horrible! Normally I use the CeraVe normal to dry moisturizer line and I use their morning and night one, but my skin is still so dry! And it sucks because my acne is flaring up as well, but I can't use any spot treatments because they make the dryness even worse. So my question to you all is what's a really good moisturizer that won't leave my skin oily but will still give it that deep moisture effect? My skin gets oily in a snap, but I feel like it's not actually getting any moisture, the oil just kinda sits on my skin but it's still dry. Does that make any sense? Okay so yeah, recommend me some good moisturizers please :)

In the winter I usually turn to a body butter for heavy duty moisture. I usually get the one that target sells. I too have super dry skin in the winter. Your skin is jus producing extra oils because it senses the skin is dry. Once you moisturizer the oil should lessen. Also, another natural solution is to put your regular lotion on and then use coconut oil or baby oil on top. What the oil does is SEAL In the moisture of the lotion to your skin and it won't become dry. That's what I've been doing so far this winter and it really helps get my skin super soft and moisturized. Hope this was helpful.

I wouldn't recommend applying coconut oil to your face. It clogs pores which can make you break out and holds in bacteria. A nice alternative would be jojoba oil. It's natural and doesn't clog pores and should help balance out the oils in your skin over time.
