I think you're hair would look so cute if you got it cut to your shoulder blades & long layers. I'm not a fan of choppy layers, but that all depends on your personal preference.

Since you have really long hair I'd suggest cutting it mid length and see how you like it, if you feel that you want to go shorter than go for it. The reason I'm giving this suggestion is because I had my hair kind of like you and I cut it to my shoulders and it was a big regret. In January it'll be 2 years since I committed that mistake,LOL. It's about half ways my back now.
