So yay! I have an interview Thursday for a makeup counter in a local department store.
I have a question, though. should I try to look a trendy (and obviously professional) as possible? Should I show off the little makeup skills I have or steer away from that and stay light and fresh as your are supposed to for an interview?
we are supposed to be on trend whilst working, so that's why I'm curious as to what I should do for this particular interview.

I would totally show off my makeup skills while still looking professional. I think it's a great idea since you will be working with makeup, it would be nice to show them your skills and I'd think they'd appreciate it.

Thanks Cinthya! that's what I was thinking, if I'm going to be selling makeup I should look the part right? I'm list scared, you never know! maybe ill do like a natural Glam look. hmm

I think natural glam's a good idea. You need to look like you know what you're doing to gain customer trust and effectively sell things, but you also want to be professional and not too over-the-top, which can be off-putting to casual makeup buyers (who I think are the main patrons at makeup counters).
