Acne Treatment For My Face-Is It Possible?

Okay, soo, I used to have acne, I tried everything, dermatologist, face washes, keeping hair out of my face, cleaned my pillow, masks, everything. I stopped using all of it and my acne stopped. Is it possible that my face stays cleaner when I don't use face washes or do any of the stuff that I listed above?
