I think it looks really beautiful!
with that being said, there are a couple of tips and tricks from previous photos I've done that may or may not help you with you're photo shoot.
1. I'd stick away from the shimmery eyeshadow if your skin turns into an oil slick like mine.
I once wore shimmery eyesahdow without a touchup of a powder, and turned into a disco ball (haha) the shimmer enhances the light reflecting from the flash, and consequently enhances that oily look. If you do intend to wear shimmery shades to the photo shoot and your skin is as oily as mine, I would personally carry a translucent powder on stand by.
2. secondly this may, just be due to the flash, but your foundation is slightly off colour to your neck. Like I said, it may just be the flash.
overally, I really love this look and I am a total sucker for the chocolate bar palette. I find it one of the most versatile neutral coloured palettes.
I really hope the information I have shared with you, will help you with your photo shoot. I hope you have a fantastic time with you're family! <3

I personally love it. I agree with Lorna on the shimmer, I wore some shimmery eye shadow for pictures and it gave my face a more shiny look. Will the photographers allow you to look at your shots afterwards? I would tell them to make sure your make up is on point in the photos!

I take family pics every year and matte eye look is your bestfriend. I did a shimmer a few years back and looked a mess. Great eye look though. Love it. What made me cringe is the blush...its far too cool toned with the warm dark eye look you have plus it makes you look ill. Far too blue based for your skin.

Ahhh...blush shade suggestions...I'm going off the top of my head as I'm sitting in a graduate seminar bored as heck...
*MAC Format
*MAC Sweet as Cocoa
*MAC Coppertone
*MAC Whole Lotta Love
*NARS Dolce Vita
*Kat Von D Heartagram
*Maybelline Master Hi-Light Powdered Blush in Mauve and Coral shades
*NYX Mosaic Powder Blush in the shade Love
And I hear Revlon has decided to amp up its blush game (I remember years ago it not even showing up on my skintone) by intensifying the pigmentation so its worth checking out that line as well. If you have a bronzer you can also use as a blush too (just use a super light hand in application).

I like the eyeshadow Sandra especially the reverse Smokey nice.I think when is comes to a bit of shimmer placement is key when it comes to picture's.When you add it to your lid just a thin layer of it would be fine.:-)

It looks gorgeous! Wear it out to dinner or something tonight! With your eye shape, you are barely going to see the shimmer part of the lid anyway, since hopefully your eyes will be open in the photo. Well done! I have hooded oily lids too so I feel your pain with the creasing and the transferring.
Regardless of what you do for a highlight shade to add dimension, I love, love the way you've contoured your hooded eye and tied it in with the wing.
