Do cleanses really help improve skin? And if so what are some good cleanses? I'm not talking about taking and supplements or vitamins just eating lots of fruits/veggies drinking lots of water cutting out all caffeine alcohol etc.

Absolutely. Omega 3, Zinc, B12, Iron and C are all great ways to improve skin and protect it. Bump up foods that are rich in antioxidants and flavonoids! Caffeine is great for skin when applied externally, as is C. Drinking water keeps you hydrated..helps cut back on chapped lips. Beauty begins on the inside...in more ways than one. :)

Eating healthy definitely improves skin. Lots of water, lots of fruits and veggies and cutting back on dairy can all help improve skin. But a lot of mainstream "cleanses" are little more than dangerous crash diets. Starving yourself isn't healthy eating, and those'll do more harm than good

Thanks everyone! You all had some great advice. I've been wanting to drink more water and cut out processed foods and sugar. I agree jack a lot of them seem like starvation diets and I'm not looking to lose weight so thank you!

Drinking Green tea reduces inflammation naturally and is an easy and inexpensive way to do something positive for your skin and your mood. :)
Eating bluerries and black grapes...strawberries...so good in a salad is beneficial to skin. Yay to positive changes!
Still like my chicken wings with hot sauce... shhhh
