I wanna color my hair a medium brown. my hair has color in it its 3months old I got it professional done also. I want to know what hair dye is the best and what developer to use. my natural hair color is black.

You'll have to lighten it.

What color did your hair stylist color it. if it is darker then what you want now then I would recommend going back to a professional for the medium brown color. it would be considered a color correction and can get tricky. if your hair is naturally black, then store bought color may not be best for you. I would just recommend going to a professional in general. don't bleach your own hair either...it is not needed and can cause excess damage.

No it actually lighter I don't really have the cash to get it done that's why I wanted to do it myself.
