I'm considering getting the core collection because I need face brushes - I only have 2 and they're falling apart. But if I like the line I think I'm going to replace the brushes I use now with them, face and eyes.
What do you suggest I start out with now, and which do you suggest I get later down the road?

The stippling brush and buffing brush are the two I used most. And between those two I would say I use the buffing brush more often. But they're all pretty cheap and great quality so splurging on a few wouldn't hurt. :)

The stippling brush is UHH-MAZING. It's good for many uses like foundation or cream blushes!

The stippling brush, expert face brush and eye kit are my faves.

I definitely have had my eye on both the stippling and buffing brushes since I started watching the pixiwoo channel. So I will probably get those.
Has anyone tried the setting brush? Would it be worth getting or is it about the same as one that comes in the face kit?

Also, the shading brush and the domed shadow brush are different, correct? And can you get the domed shadow brush separately or would I have to buy the travel kit?

I was at Ulta today and an employee said how amazing the brushes were. I ended up getting ecotools face brush, which is so soft and not to expensive. :) I think that as you get more brushes, you should try the Japonesque stippling brush. Sooo soft!!! (But pricy)

Just wanted to pop back in and update you guys. I went to Ulta tonight (sadly I had crappy customer service again...the usual) and got some of the real techniques brushes. I got the core collection and an individual shading brush. I wanted to get the starter set for eyes but they were out. I'll either order those online or check back. I wanted to get an extra shading brush anyway though so it worked out.
I haven't used them yet because I already have my makeup on for today but they're very soft and I can't wait to try them!! Thank you all for your advice and recommendations!! :)

I love every single one I have!! The expert face brush is my fav probably. I also love the blush brush! ( I like using it for powder though bc I like something smaller for blush :)

All of them are worth it!!! I recommend the collection with the buffing brush in it, because that brush just makes any kind of foundation goes on beautifully (I use it with powder foundations and liquids an cremes). The contour brush is good and you can never go wrong with a lip brush. Plus the little holder it comes in is super handy for travel

I love ALL the brushes but I think the best are the blush and buffing brush.

I'm so excited to try out the buffing brush!! I eventually want to get the stippling brush as well but the buffing one was definitely a must try. I have a feeling over time I'm going to end up buying every set I can get my hands on. I haven't tried mine out yet but it doesn't look like they're going to disappoint me
