Now that it's winter here in Denver the heat is on almost all the time in my apartment lol. Inconveniently my makeup table is located next to the radiator thing (I'm not sure if it's a radiator, I don't know...it's a heater I know that much haha) and I can't really move the table because the heater is right below a giant window and I NEEEED that natural lighting when doing my makeup haha it's so dark in my place!
So my question is...will it being warm near my makeup affect it? As soon as I realized my table was like...warm from the heat I moved away all the cream products so they wouldn't get warm at all. But will the powders be affected? It's not like...SERIOUSLY hot either, just warm. I have my powders and single eyeshadows in the drawer that is near the heater. Should I not? lol. thanks!

Sorry I forgot to mention I'm only worried about this because of bacteria really. I knew it would affect cream products so I moved them but I'm not sure about powder :)

Yes and no. Powders need to be stored in dark/cool area as to not mess with the formulation. But it all depends on how warm is warm...is it getting that heat directly? Just to be on the safe side I would move the shadows to another side if possible. Radiators are strange beasts...I had one go on blast when I was living in NYC years ago. Came home and my apartment was 90 degrees in the dead of winter.

That's a good question, I'm curious to see the answers you get as I too live near Denver (:

Thank you Shelley! <3 There is the back of the wooden drawers between the products and the heater, but it still does get pretty hot. I think I'm going to move them just to be on the safe side :)
And ooooh Yvette that's awesome you're so close by! I'm sorta new to the Denver area I'm loving it so far :)
And lol thanks Naomi! <3
