What are some good (individual) brushes? I don't need a set, I just wanna add to my collection. Brand doesn't matter (except I've tried Real Techniques, and I didn't like them).  Thanks!

I've heard great things about bdellium brushes.

Agree with Lisbeth on bdellium. I have several and really like them. The sigma f80 is amazeballs for liquid foundations as well.

I like the Eco tools face brushes - they are really soft and affordable.

Ooooh Bdellium are great and they have pink handles!
I also like Eco Tools, Crown Brush, MAC Brushes, and Coastal Scents. :)

I have a lot of brushes I love. But I'm going to only show my most unusual brushes. I also included Mac 213 for some scale. Then the next 2 brushes are artists brushes I got at Michaels that I use as eyeliner brushes. The white handle brush is a Sonia Kashuk smudging or blending brush (can't remember which), the double-ended brush is Studio Basics brush, blender on one side & smudger on the other end.

I meant the Mac 217.

I'd definitely agree with Ecotools - I've been using them for years and I always get great results when I use them. They're a really great budget option and they hold their shape really well when they're washed. They do a set of two double ended eye brushes which are just incredible!

Gah, I should have mentioned that I own a bunch of bdellium brushes! I'm pretty interested in a couple good ones from MAC like the 217. Maybe might pick up some Sonia Kashuk brushes.

If you want some affordable ones I have a set from coastal scents and they are really good quality. A lot of beauty gurus are raving about morphe brushes. You can only order them online though.

You could try Zoeva, blank canvas and coastal scents.

I highly recommend the Wayne Goss brushes from here. They are super soft and make blending a breeze. Kind of pricy though.

I'm a Kashuk Tools fanatic. I can't seem to go to Target without buying one. Since they are in the $10-15 range that's not so bad. I recently got the e.l.f blush brush and was blown away by how good it was for $3. I'll echo the Ecotools sentiment. Not every ecotools brush is a winner, but it's nice that you can find them in walgreens and I like that you can open the package and touch them. I recently bought the eco tools powder brush and love it. Great under $20 option. I have only bought a few brushes online from beautylish and their quality has been great, but yeah way pricey.
