I love it! Just remember to use a color safe shampoo and conditioner, I use John Friedas for red hair. If you can't find a shampoo and conditioner for purple hair, mix a few drops if the dye I your conditioner to keep your color maintained.

Adding on to what the other ladies said, you can also use a spray bottle filled with water and a few drops of a purple vegan dye to keep your colour vibrant if you can't find a shampoo or conditioner for purple hair. :)

I've used the same color with the same brand, and although I loved how it came out depending on how often you wash your hair its going to fade quickly and it won't pick up on any other color you try using after that, I mean it sort of will but its always going to leave that tint and its not going to bleach out and thats what makes me completely regret using it

You would look great with that hair color!
I'm no expert but when I dye my hair red I stay clear of washing my hair for as long as I can and with pretty cold water. It's a nightmare but it really helped me. and another thing I noticed. if you don't use shampoo every time you shower ( but I'm not referring to if you wash your hair every so often ) it washes out way quicker. definitely go with what these ladies say on the colored hair shampoo and conditioners it helps a ton:)

*** if you do use shampoo when you shower every time it washes out quicker

Shampoo washing out colored dye is a myth. It's the temperature of the water that you use.

No,because even washing my hair on the Coldest temp. made it come out. it was the shampoo.

It's absolutey not the shampoo. If you're using a color safe shampoo and conditioner like I mentioned in my previous post, it is not the shampoo honey.

I don't know if it's just me but the tresemme line for coloured hair washed my colour out so some of the shampoos and conditioners for "colour treated hair" really don't do much.

It shouldn't do that if it's a color safe line. I don't know what happened with you but I've dyed my hair a million times and with color safe shampoo and conditioner, everything is fine. When I don't use it, my color washes out, I use warm water to shower and when the warm water hits my hair, color washes out, but then the shampoo acts as a shield and the consumer adds the color back. My John Frieda color safe shampoo and conditioner is specifically for the color that my hair is, which is what I stated needs to be done when you have colored hair. Get a color safe shampoo that is for your color and there will not be a problem. A plain ole color safe shampoo that doesn't specify what color it's intended for will probably fade your color due to the chemicals and different ingredients that are in it. It's always a good idea to check what ingredients are in your hair care products lovlies! http://hair.allwomenstalk.com/commonly-used-chemicals-your-hair-is-better-off-without Here's a link to help the ones who are having difficulties find the right hair care products. I've had red hair since I was 16. I have used colored hair shampoo and non. also the kind specifically for red hair. all the 5 years that its been red, the dye has washed out easily in the shower. I've always had it professionally done. it wasnt crappy dye or anything. maybe people results differ but , for me , it washed out with shampoo and any.temp of wAter.
