I've noticed throughout the day my foundation starts clumping and looking cakey and yes I've tried different types I don't know if it's just because I have dry skin it what help please!

I would try to remember to always moisturize and prime before applying your moisurizer.

I moisturize my face then I use my quo sponge to apply it on my face then I use powder to set it.

I agree to using a primer smashbox makes some great ones or even hourglass mineral veil primer and remember when applying foundation always start sheer then build up same with powder you don't want to end up putting too much because then it will look cakey also a setting spray may help I use the kat von d lock n load and my face lasts for the whole day anyways hope I could help :D

It's not just about primer and moisturizer, but also being sure both are given ample time to soak in. I allow 15 minutes between each product.

I think you need to focus on your skincare..
I can't tell you how many times a good at home facial n hydrating mask or a good exfoliate n a good layer of night cream to soak in gives you a better canvas in the am.
its ok to switch up your routine through the wk.
you may have a night cream that's too heavy but you may need to use it once or twice a wk.
drink plenty of water as well.
its hard to keep skin hydrated but necessary. plus it keeps ya looking young. ;-)
