OK so when I was little I had a breakout of discoloration spots on my cheek. The spots were lighter than my skin tone and my granny said it was because of drinking sodas. I remember going to a doctor and using a cream but don't remember anything else. But I noticed today that I am getting those same spots on my cheek again but haven't been drinking sodas that often. My question is what causes this exactly and what cream can I use? Please help!

That's crazy when we use to get those my mom would just say it was bc we needed vitamins and she would give us a multi vatimin and they would go away over a period of time.

Sound like your granny took an opportunity to warn you away from drinking too much pop. ;) Lots of things can cause light spots, from vitamin deficiencies to reactions to skincare products to serious issues like vitiligo. Definitely see your doctor.
