Why did you ask for only moderators? I'm sure there are plenty of other beauties on here who could have helped you.

You should go to the doctor and get prescription creams/ pills. A doctor will be able to help you way more than a drug store face wash

I personally prefer paulas choice for my face.
Why?
Because her products deal more with the issue instead of fairy dusting. The PH of her products are balanced effectively, they are stored in the appropriate containers so that environmental factors don't break down the product making it ineffective. She's very strict on steering away from irritants and solvent alcohol. I have sensitive, dry and acne prone skin. I've never had an issue with her products. They always have sales and aren't over priced either :)

I noticed that you mentioned that some prescription items didn't work for you, if those items didn't work for you then I think you should save up money for the laser treatment that your dermatologist suggested instead of throwing away $30 and $40s on drug store stuff.

@Jasmine
It sounds like she may have dried out or irritated her skin using a product, in which her skin tries to overcompensate by making more oil. This is why I personally steer from PTR products. Some are okay, but I have seen quite a list of essential oils and irritants. I prefer to look at ingredients as my skin is sensitive and too acne prone to be messing around.
I have seen Traci recommend his Vitamin C serum from his line, as far as other products from his line.. I'm not sure.
I usually go based off of ingredients, not the name brand or price as I have seen products with nice name brands and high prices filled with nothing but mineral oil and fragrance. If you have acne prone or sensitive skin.. I definitely recommend going to your local library and reading up on some good skin care books. It will definitely help as knowledge is very powerful ( and save you lots of money! ).

My skin is oily and very acne prone, her line has helped a lot with my skin, it's far from perfect but much better than its been in years. I'd definitely recommend her products!
