Lately I've'e noticed that after I wash my hair and blow dry it, at the roots at the back of my head it's still greasy. I'm assuming its product build up because when I touch it it smells like products! How can I get rid of this? I feel like my hair is always dirty after washing and I don't like it 😩 please help!

^^ a good one is by garnier I don't remember the exact name though. Also shampooing twice will help. Once to get some of the product loose and twice to actually clean all the build up. (:

There is a clarifying shampoo by neutrogena this is a MUST for build up. It takes out all the gunk, however the formula should only be used 1x a week. Check your shower head too, there might be build up.

You can actually do a diy clarifying treatment by just washing your hair with baking soda and then use your regular washing routine or you can go to Sally's and get clarifying treatments in little packets for like 3$.

My friend had this same issue with her hair and a stylist recommended Paul Mitchell clarifying shampoo for her. However, she told me it still took her like a month of washing daily with that shampoo to finally get rid of that residue. I ended up having the same issue with my hair a few months later, but I decided to do a little researching on diy methods so I could get rid of that nasty residue asap! It looked like my hair was greasy the morning after I would wash it and just felt dirty, like you said your hair did. What I found was to use Dawn dish soap and/or baking soda. I know neither is great for your hair, but wow. Seriously, only one wash with Dawn and a little baking soda and all that nasty residue was completely gone! And I just used regular conditioner after I washed it. You probably don't need to use the baking soda in addition to the Dawn, but I read so many comments and some used baking soda and some didnt, so I just went all out because I wanted to be sure that residue was completely out of my hair.
