Is that a GIGANTIC bow on the back? If so, I think it's inappropriate.

I think it's a little to casual. Depending on the funeral some people dress casual others don't. When I attended a patient's funeral I took care of I wore black pants a purple cheetah button up shirt with a black blazer.

I wouldn't wear jeans. If anything khakis look more professional over jeans.

Honestly though it's a funeral. It's not a time for you to focus on what you are wearing but the persons life and how beautiful of a person they truly were.

Honestly you're family of the deceased, nobody is going to care what you're wearing. And you're young, you are not supposed to have funeral ready clothing. My grandpa died a year ago and I freaked out on what to wear, but really nobody is looking at your clothes and you won't remember what you or anyone else wore. They are there to honor and remember the dead not judge your fashion choice. But you did well, it's not revealing or inappropriate and won't make people stare at you instead of focusing on why they are there.

But I'm sorry for your loss, it's always hard to lose family.

Seriously!! It's a funeral. Do you guys discuss the fashion tips for funeral too. Isn't it little inhuman. Not to offend anyone but still. Good for thought.

Jenna M. I think that she is already sad enough. I understand what se means. There is nothing wirse then wearing something wrong on such a day. You want to focus on something else then your outfit. When she knows her outfit is fine, then that is one less thing to worry about.

I think you look fine. If you really don't know for sure if this outfit is okay, you could always go for some basic tights and a plain black dress. You can't go wrong with that. Sorry for your loss dear :'(.

Come on you guys...you're being a bit anal about everything. she looks fine. a funeral isn't an interview or a fashion show. no one pays attention to what you are wearing unless you come dress in like.neon colors and crazy hair and makeup. she looks fins

Dressing appropriately for a funeral is showing your respect for the deceased. Dressing in pjs or jeans is very disrespectful. I guess it depends on ones opinion.

And omg, can some of you stop being like "nobody cares about what you wear" that such a stupid comment! It is REALLY hard to piss me off, but congratz, you just flippin' made me mad! AT A FUNERAL YOU DON't WANT TO WORRY ABOUT WHAT YOU WEAR SO IT IS NORMAL THAT YOU ARE GONNA ASK SOMEBODY GOR ADVISE! It is very inhuman to talk s*** right now at her. Please stop that. She already has a hard time. Just give her advise and move on.

Sorry for flippin' lol but I just needed to get that out if my system. But I agree with Mary M! ;)
