Personally I think the top is fine. I wouldn't wear jeans, it's usually better to wear all black or with some grey. when my dad passed away I just wore black pants and a black button up shirt

My family is super conservative, so the bow and jeans wouldn't be appropriate for us. However, if your family is less formal I think that you look fine. Every funeral is different, and as long as you are respectful nobody will give you any trouble.

I'm sorry for your loss, and for the others in this thread that are experiencing loss as well. It is hard, and I feel your pain.

Thank you

I'm sorry for your loss. I recently had to go to the funeral of a close friend who had killed himself, and although I wore black, l didn't worry too much about it. Just being there is so much more important than what you're wearing. As I said, I'm really sorry for your loss. Hugs to you.

Thanks for all the nice people that were nice and to all the others that weren't you need to stop because I'm going through a really hard time right now so just stop. And I'm sorry for everyone that had a loved one or a friend pass away.

I agree with Shanae. I believe that you should dress a little more formal, because personally I wouldn't wear jeans. If you have a nice dark dress or blouse, then I would wear that, but if you don't, then your outfit should be ok. I would just say that if you can dress up a little more, that would be better (it's more respectful and sometimes people get upset). To the people talking bad to Delilah, please just get off her case and give her advice without being rude. I'm sorry for your loss.

You should wear what makes you feel comfortable. The only dress code for a funeral is black. I think the outfit is fine, and sorry for your loss.

Thats completely true Renay! When my grandmother passed I wore a dress which she always loved on me. That dress had so many beautiful memories attached to it (is that hiw you say it? Idk). If you spend a lot if time with that person you could wear something which is aproriate and also has some memories with it? I don't know if it is a good idea... But that is what I did.

I didn't notice they were jeans. oh well though I think black pants would look better with the ensemble over all but like I said its not really about what you wear to be honest. just because you wear jeans doesn't mean you didn't respect the person who passed.

I'm sorry to hear that Kiimy! A girl I know comitted suicide 3 weeks ago. It is hard but when life knocks you down, you just need to stand back up. At least that is what thay say. Staying down is easier though.

And omg, can some of you stop being like "nobody cares about what you wear" that such a stupid comment! It is REALLY hard to piss me off, but congratz, you just flippin' made me mad! AT A FUNERAL YOU DON't WANT TO WORRY ABOUT WHAT YOU WEAR SO IT IS NORMAL THAT YOU ARE GONNA ASK SOMEBODY GOR ADVISE! It is very inhuman to talk s*** right now at her. Please stop that. She already has a hard time. Just give her advise and move on.

Dressing appropriately for a funeral is showing your respect for the deceased. Dressing in pjs or jeans is very disrespectful. I guess it depends on ones opinion.

Come on you guys...you're being a bit anal about everything. she looks fine. a funeral isn't an interview or a fashion show. no one pays attention to what you are wearing unless you come dress in like.neon colors and crazy hair and makeup. she looks fins

Jenna M. I think that she is already sad enough. I understand what se means. There is nothing wirse then wearing something wrong on such a day. You want to focus on something else then your outfit. When she knows her outfit is fine, then that is one less thing to worry about.

I think you look fine. If you really don't know for sure if this outfit is okay, you could always go for some basic tights and a plain black dress. You can't go wrong with that. Sorry for your loss dear :'(.

Seriously!! It's a funeral. Do you guys discuss the fashion tips for funeral too. Isn't it little inhuman. Not to offend anyone but still. Good for thought.
