The foundations I've currently been using are nars sheer glow and shisheido dual balancing foundation and my skin type has been confusing lately like I've noticed my fave feels oily when I touch or but it use to be dry and I would like a more medium to full coverage because I get break outs and stuff

Hi Brianna! Looking at your pictures you may deal with the same issue I do- oily- but dehydrated skin. You may be dehydrated from smoking, alcohol, too much coffee (yup!), too much sugar or salt (me!), medications (me too!) or hereditary issues. Your skin compensates by over producing oil and breaking down your makeup searching for water. Your skin needs more water, but not oil. Try removing items from your diet and drink more water. Use skin care that caters to your oily skin TYPE and your dehydrated skin CONDITION. Paula's Choice has a hydra light line that is good and not expensive, if you can spend more, Korres products are amazing, the yogurt moisturizer is great! Once you get your skin to stop eating your makeup, it gets better I promise! Maybe try a moisturizing primer- you need moisture (water) but not oil- so find products that give you water! I'm still not totally happy with my regimen, and know I just need to eat better- but have no will power, lol! I really hope this helps you!! 😘💕

Erica definitely nailed it I have a horrible diet I smoke and I don't drink nearly enough water I am getting a colleen Rothschild skincare discovery kit to get a better skincare routine and what you said really makes sense thank you everyone who commented I just never put those pieces together to understand what was causing this issue. so I guess to get the makeup how I want it I need to do serious habit breaking thanks so much again!

I know this isn't part of beauty but how can I break these bad habits? and how long does it take to break bad habits and turn them into good habits?

I am obsessed with Dior's airbrush foundation. When applied right it is not cakey and it gives great coverage. If you want to try a new foundation I defiantly recommend that one.

Oh! Also, put a thin layer of honey on your face for twenty minutes or so whenever you can- it REALLY adds water moisture so beautifully!🌸
