Nah, i don't think you should do it. Unless you go a dark red. Bright red is so hard to keep up with and since you have to dye it a lot more, you can kill your hair like that.

It's a pain to maintain, but awesome. What I do is instead of bleaching my hair, is I use Loreal High Color highlights in Magenta as a base then glaze over with Manic Panic. It helps me maintain my color longer. Also, if you use a sulfate free shampoo it will keep the color longer.
