After you curl your lashes take a water proof mascara wipe the excess off and apply to your lashes then apply regular mascara. This keeps your lashes curled longer and makes them look longer and fuller.
Also a damp beauty blender works better then a dry one. After you apply lipstick place a tissue over them and apply setting powder this makes your lip stick last longer and gives a matte finish :) I hope I was helpful

Anna is so right on with the lipstick blotting! Holy cats, please blot.

Best:
-Get a matching foundation. If you can't afford a high end brand, at least get matched to one, then work backwards from there to what drugstore shades match that. *Most* people are not so good at matching themselves right away. (It can take a few years for people to understand their color. Some people, color theory is not their thing.)
-Quality over quantity. If you can, buy the staples that matter of higher quality. I think a good foundation, nude-y/pink and red matte lipstick, and a nude matte or matte+shimmer eye palette are worth the splurge. (Especially when you price some out per unit or compare an 8$ drugstore lippie to 15$ M.A.C) It's worth the extra money for the increase in product performance because these are things you will continually use. You can easily buy an 8$ foundation and become frustrated by it's caking, let's say. To go on to buy a 9$ bottle, that doesn't quite match. Next thing you know, you've spent the equivalent of a bottle of high end foundation. When all along you could have had one bottle that matched and delivered. Get the wet and wild fun colored shadows, etc.
-take advantage of samples at sephora and Nordstrom. Sample before you buy.

Worst
-box hair dye

Worst mistake: not blending your foundation into your neck x

With skin care, try one new product at a time (even if you buy a whole line) so in case you have a break out or irritation, you know the culprit. With makeup, I agree about a quality foundation- there is no substitute and I've spent $50 easily over the years on drugstore bases that don't match or sit on top of my skin rather than blend, let alone enhance and even out my skin. Save on eyeliners, mascaras, gloss, powder, blush, and lipliners. Spend on eyeshadow in classic shades you know suit you and that you will actually use, spend on concealer, lipstick, maybe a highlighter, and brow stuff. Use a blow dryer to hear your lash curler, wait a few seconds, then your lashes will hold a curl much longer and bette. fI hope all our tips have helped!

Best: Changing my diet for clear skin which allows me to go make-up free when desired.
Worst: Wearing makeup that cover up my skin versus enhancing it. Now I go for enhancing versus masking.
