I haven't used any hair masques before. In which order do you apply it?
Like do I use it after shampoo and conditioner? Or just shampoo?
Is it better to use after an anti residue shampoo? So there isn't any silicone on the hair that may block all the goodness in the masque?

I'm not sure and would love to know. Following.

I'm not sure about the anti-residue shampoo (I've only done it with normal shampoo) but yes apply it after shampoo, I usually do after conditioner as well but some people don't. On the bottle there should be some instruction. Leave the mask on for about 10minutes and thoroughly rinse.

The instructions on the back are:
Liberally comb through clean, wet hair and allow up to 7 minutes of penetration before rinsing. No heat nesscary. Deep repair masque is an intense treatment. For best results use twice a week.
I guess does "clean" hair mean just shampoo? This stuff is so expensive, so I want to use it in the most effective way possible.
I wish they went into a little bit more detail on their Instructions. I hope Hannah the moderator comments on this because I have seen her recommend this mask.
Bridgette D. Do you find your hair to be weighed down or get greasy faster if you use the masque after conditioner?

I should have titled this thread as "How to use hair masks"
Just so everyone knows, the feedback doesn't have to be about this particular hair mask. I'd like to know everyones process and how you ladies use them.

All hair masks are generally used the same. You can use it alone (after shampooing) or after conditioner. I personally use hair masks to condition every time I wash my hair. So I just use shampoo (not a clarifying shampoo) and then apply the mask, shave my legs or whatever waiting at least 5 minutes then rinse. But you can also do it after conditioning.
You could also do it just by dampening your hair, no shampoo, and putting the mask in. When I do this I generally wait 20-30 minutes then washout. But it can feel much greasier after. I don't personally feel like any mask makes my hair feel greasy, but everybody's hair is different and everybody feels like their hair is greasy at different points. But using logic, if you don't shampoo your hair will be more greasy than if you do lol. I usually only do that once a month or so, just when I buy an expensive or high potency mask (like the macadamia one or heavy oiled ones) but I use klorane hair mask for my everyday conditioner. And sometimes I use the macadamia one if my hair is feeling dry or if I've used heat on it.

Oh and if you do the no shampoo first, you can always shampoo when you're rinsing it out and condition with your regular conditioner. It'll still give your hair moisture and the benefits of the mask.
