So I've heard if you have oily hair you can wash it everyday. is that true?

It depends on the person. You can strip your hair causing it to make your scalp produce more oil. But some people are just more oily than others natural. Like me for instance, I have a hormonal imbalance causing me to be veryyyy oily.

Well if it's very oily on a daily basis of course you should wash it everyday otherwise you are going to have dirty hair, try using a clarifying shampoo and only use conditioner on the ends of your hair not on your scalp.

But if you are afraid of striping your hair of your natural oil you can start off shampooing every other day and see if that helps.

Depends on the person. sometimes that's (washing daily) exactly why your hair is so oily.
