Urgh I meant to add that there are clips existing that you put into wet hair and it turns out as a finger wave (you should ask your grandmother whether she has some, my mum actually found some of those in my nan's beauty supply after she had died)

I've found finger waves to be one of the most difficult styles to accomplish. I enjoy the pinned up am wavy Bob much more, and its pretty easy! I also think that this style looks great with the traditional Smokey eyes and a very very red lip, with either very little blush or none at all.

I think you can comb it into finger waves, too, but it looks pretty hard ;)
Oh and I'd definitely add a headband if you're not already planning on doing it :)

I am so obsessed with the twenties! I had this cute short cut and I would love finger waving it! I use metal clamps and let it dry...I need to find a picture, I've done 20s looks soooo many times!!
