Would getting a straight perm be somehow less damaging, or better than using a flat iron every day?

Do you have Curley hair ?

They both are very damaging to your hair. Just get a very good heat protecting serum rub it through your hair then straighten it. Just be careful because straightening can stop hair growth.

Go to a professional hair dresser and ask them for their opinion. They know what's best for your hair.

I've gotten a straight perm before and it was alright . I feel like it kinda damaged my hair just as a straightener would. And since I have really curly hair, once it started growing out I had to flat iron anyways.

they don't last long and they don't always end up staying all that straight so you end up straightening your hair anyhow. I suggest getting a Nice heat protecting spray.

straight perm causes your hair to go very very dull as apposed to a flat iron with ceramic plates will give you a nice shine . overall the straight perm may be less work but its definitely not worth it!!

No perm. Because you still will be using heat on your hair after you perm. Perms break down the protein in the hair which gives it its structure. And as you get new growth youll be flat ironing anyway.

i dont understand when girls straighten their hair then curl it. Your natural curls can look 10x better if you style it right. And its less trouble than you think.
