I think it is a do. My hair just isn't long enough for it. I would do a medium brown and then the golden blonde ends. Or even pink ends!!

It depends on the salon if your hair is long it could be over 100 dollars which is why so many people do it themselves

Its a do. The shade should be light enough where it pops, but it shouldnt be a drastic jump.

It should also be far enough from the scalp so that it doesn't look like you need a retouch.

You also don't want it to look like you did just the tips.
