I want to avoid damage, I don't have a curling iron or wand, I couldn't use one to save my life lol & my hair is naturally curly long & thick so I don't have the patience to blow dry it all then attempt to use a wand/curling iron. & yes my hair is damaged, I'm in dire need of a haircut!

If you don't mind me asking. why are you not wanting to use heat? is your hair damaged already? and you could achieve curls with a roller set with no heat but it would probably take all day to dry.

In my opinion braids won't active that look. Wrap your hair around the flex rode like you would a curling iron. Make sure your hair is slightly damp, not wet but just a spritz with a bottle will do the trick. Then take a clip and clip the end of the rod where the end of your hair is. The bend the rod into a you shape.

Didn't realize how small the picture was! I tried to get it bigger, I apologize for the crappy quality.

Tight braid left in for a few days, then sea salt spray when you take it out, that's how I do it.

Hey ladies! hope you're all having a good start to the week :) I was just wondering if any of you knew how to achieve this look WITHOUT heat? like flexi rods or something? & if you do, can you explain the process please? I can't look at videos on YouTube because my phone takes like a million years to play like 10 seconds. boo :( anyways, thanks for reading! here's the picture.
