So I just thought about how bored I am with all these solid hair colors I pick so I decided and my husband agreed I am going to dye my whole head black again and am going to dye underneath red and since I have short layers on top now those will stay black and my longest part of my hair will be red I can't wait to get everything and dye it so I can show you guys!! I think I am going to start off getting the loreal reds hilights to get a base red so I don't have to bleach it then go over that with manic panics infra red I want it to be extreme red.

Wait so your doing black on top and red on bottom? I did that once however it only pooked gopd for like 2 weeks it faded so fastt lol):

Yeah red does fade fast so I like to stock up on a few tubs of manic panic because I like to retouch the red when I shower I just leave it on for about 5 mins then wash out just to keep it very vibrant and stuff

It'll look good! I used to have the opposite lol. Black on bottom red on top. Remember to add a bit of red dye to your shampoo and conditioner, it'll refresh it a bit each wash :)

This is how my hair was, it's a bit faded to an orangey red and this isn't the nicest photo of me but I don't have tons of that hair that you can see the layers. It'll look so good on you :)

Christina, thanks! she definitely was partly an influence while going red haha. I loved the orangey red she always had, so when I dyed my hair red I always chose an orange based red instead of a pink based red lol. That was super faded though so it was an almost natural ginger color. And it was after a concert so it was half curly half straight lol. When it was curly it looked sooo cool, or while in braids. In braids it was this pretty swiRly mix of black and red lol. Like this was it curly, I'd just twist my hair while it was wet lol. It was 5 years ago though, I wish I had taken more photos! It was such a good hair color combo lol
