I want to dip dye the ends of my hair. Either purple or light brown. Any suggestions? I have straight black hair. I will post a pic of me.

Both would look amazing but if your hairs black you'll have to bleach it first if you want to do purple, which means you'll need a good inch off your hair next time you go the hair dresses.

I just had my hair cut last week. My coloring appointment is this week I believe. I was just trying to figure out what color I should do. Purple definitely, it'd go wonderfully with your skin type and purple fades much much nicer than blue! I do recommend bleaching though, bleach it to the colour of the last picture posted so when the purple fades away you have the option of keeping the light ends or re dying another semi pertinent hair colour.

Purple or red/pink you wouldn't really be able to see light brown on your hair only because it would be hard to see sadly my friend has tried and she has dark hair like yours and noone even noticed you couldn't see it at all
