I dyed my beautiful, dark blonde natural hair color black when I was 13.. Sure, it was fun, but do you know how hard it is to get such a harsh colour out of your hair? I failed, I couldn't get it out of my hair at all.
In fact, for several years I bleached it many times, for this I apologise to my hair, must have been really shitty for it. About a year ago it was looking yellowish blonde from the bleaching, and my roots were showing, so it looked so dirty! I have naturally dark blonde hair, and it showed off.
What I did is I got it dyed at a hair salon in London, he used colour "number 6" as I remember he said, a dark brown colour, which he assured me would fade into dark blonde.
And voila! That's how I got the haircolour I have now, which is extremely similar to my natural colour, I am very happy with it. I honestly can't tell where my roots begin and where the dyed colour is.
What I'm saying is, by judging your photo, you too, have a gorgeous natural colour. Just be careful with what colours you are playing with, black for instance, is so extremely hard to get out of your hair, it can be so harsh to it. But if you want to dye it black, you'd definitely have to dye it often so as to not have it dirty looking (when the roots start showing and you see that bad contrast between light and dark). Ombre is one thing, especially if it's well done, but that contrast is just a no no in my book, it looks so odd and dirty.
