Its a tinted moisturiser (dont know how to write that word!!!!) haha so it shouldnt make your skin break but you can try by buying a drugstore cheap one and if its fine you should buy a higher brand if you want to

American BB creams (drugstore, never tried high end) are mostly tinted moisturizers. The Asian version are said to be better for skin (also never tried) and are made to have very high coverage and good skin benefits. It was originally made to help better skin and to cover up scars and such from facial surgery.

the Asian version? never heard of it but I spend a lot on my skin care product so I want a very good one, where do I get the Asian version one?

I have recently switched to Smashbox, but I got my Asian ones from Amazon and had no problems. I tried 2 from Skin79 and one from Missha.

And as to breakouts it's trial and error. Missha one broke me out, but works without problems for two of my friends.

Most companys have their own website if you're that concerned about getting a fake, otherwise, I'd trust Amazon over eBay.

it is something that is easy to use on the go, and lasts for hours, and is cheaper than foundation, try a maybelline dream fresh BB cream

bb creams are verryyy sheer coverage. if you want something to cover acne, don't try them. they don't cover anything. the only good thing i have found them to do is somewhat evens out your skintone. but if you have redness, forget it..

As others say, the sheer coverage is present in American version BB Creams. Asian/Korean BB creams are made for their coverage, which is aimed at covering surgery scars and such blemishes.

It is NOT tinted moisturizer!!! Drugstore ones might be but the high end ones are not. They have more coverage, and act as a primer.
I totally disagree with the comments that they don't cover redness. My too faced bb cream covers mine perfectly. I don't have bad skin or acne or anything but it does even my skin tone nicely and I will never stop using it.

Think of your bb cream as a tinted moisturizer on steriods. It's going to prep(prime) your skin, hydrate, protect, and have a little bit more coverage than your tinted moisturizer. BB creams are great for people who want something they can just throw on and go. It's also a great option for those who want to even out there skin tone, but not wear a heavy foundation. You can use a bb cream as a primer for another liquid foundation or powder foundation if you need a little extra coverage. A bb cream isn't great for people that truly want that full coverage foundation effect. Many bb creams come in just one shade. However, there are now bb creams on the market that come in different shades.. such as Smashbox and Too Faced

You will really breakout. I've heard very bad reviews and I have also been disappointed with using it as well

kimberly said it very well! :) i urge you girls to really read what she posted and take that into consideration.
payton, you cannot say "you really will breakout" because duh, there are tons of people who don't you can say that YOU yourself broke out. but to make that as a general statement is misleading and untrue.

Missha works for me, my 24yo and 18yo nieces, my sister who is in her fifties. Never broke me out even though everything breaks me out. I'm fair and get color 21. They have three colors only and I think that's the medium color. My favorite part is the very high SPF and you need only half a squirt a day. Check Amazon. I got mine for only ten bucks and it was from a legit Korean store.

Oh, and Missha is full coverage. I cover broken capillaries and sun spots!
I know YouTube gurus who rave about Lioeli (sp?) and there's one more brand I can't think of now. Go for Asian brands, not the American knock offs which are simply tinted moisturizers!
Missha is the BEST thing that ever happened to me! My complexion is so beautiful now after a lifetime of acne, that I only use concealer to even my tone!!!!!

Yes, Callie G., they were first made for burns!

Erborian is a really good Korean brand. For a cheaper one I didn't mind Loreal's.

Get the smash box one and set it with powder. You'll have good coverage and a semi-matt finish :)

Bb cream does not give you acne or will make you breakout. Of course everyone has different reactions to different products. But that is also your skin getting used to a product. Bb cream does not cause breakouts. It also helps prevent breakouts. The drugstore brands might make you break out more because they are really only light foundation/tinted moisturizer. However higher end bb creams are fabulous. The exception would be garnier which is actually perfect for dry skin. You just have to look up bb creams and find the best suit for your skin.
