So my hair is long and thick but gets greasy really quick and needs a lot of care at the ends to stop it from splitting and dehydrating are there any homemade hair masks that would help with both problems at the same time?

Well if there's split ends, you have to get them cut..nothing can mend them together. You can try coconut oil to hydrate them, though!

For the greasy hair I am not sure. dry shampoo should help with that, though. for your ends coconut oil would be good to keep your hair hydrated. you can leave it on an hour or overnight. however long you want. :)

I will try cocount oil thanks:) I am getting my hair cur and dyed just before I go back to college but will the dye damage the ends further?

If you take care of your hair, the dye shouldn't be an issue. dying does damage hair, but like I said if you give your hair some tlc you'll be fine :)

About the split ends; do you blow dry your hair completely and hold the end right against your hair? If so; stop doing that for a while, let your hair air dry.

I dry my fringe and root to mid length but leave the tips air dry unless I am going out but I will leave all my hair dry naturally, thank you:)
