You have too bleach it. Its A Process though if you do it yourself. I suggest going to a professional :)

Leslie is right. Red and black are notorious for being difficult to remove...with red beating black hands down. I wanted to use a temporary dye in my blonde for Halloween and my friend/hairdresser said, "Hellllll no." My guess is it will take multiple steps...possibly visits... to reduce damage, but a reputable salon should be able to help you achieve your color.
