Not sure exactly what category this would go under. I hope I'm right with the category though.
I know what school I want to go to go my makeup artist education and extra stuff with makeup (Cinema Makeup School)
So I was looking at the scholarships and one of them is making a cosplay.
Problem though for me I don't know many character that can be cosplayed. (I don't play video games, watch movie, ect. So I don't know this stuff) So I need help on naming some characters and getting ideas!!

Here is how they word it
"Your cosply choice should be based either on a specific character from comic book, video game, movie or tv show. Within that framework, you can gender bend, genre-bend, choose a different era (e.g. steampunk, Victorian, etc.) or make any changes to the character you like."

Batman characters are popular but you'll probably have a lot of competition. anime is really good for cosplay given the fact that no one looks like that and you are trying to recreate it. Do it right and you'd probably be a sure in.

I would suggest a cosplay from an action or gundam anime, maybe. A good one would be Asuka langley Soryu from Evangelion, or Kallen Kozuki from Code Geass.

*falls from ceiling* My time has come. Anyway, armor will definitely seem impressive, so Samus, any of the Armored Wayfarer trio from KH (People may use different terms for that group, FYI.) Spartan Warriors from Halo, War Machine or Rescue from Marvel. Something with multiple arms would be fun, however only character I can think of right now is a nameless "Magical Girl" from Mahou Shojou The End with four arms. And for something a little easier, but more in impressive styling is Sailor Cosmos. I tried to think of characters not normally seen but would look impressive. I mean how many Marvel and DC cosplayer can you judge? Look great and have the judges judge you based off you styling and craftsmanship not for being the 5th Loki in a row.
