Hey Guys! I really want to start doing costume/special effects makeup, but I don't know where to start. What are some good companies online to buy from and what should I get to start out with?

I have Sigma brushes already and they are amazing! I will definitely look into getting Mac Fix Plus and some stuff from BH cosmetics. Thank you so much for all the info! You are so sweet:))<3

I know of amazing stuff for SFX.
Honestly I would not go with a beauty makeup company unless the makeup you get from that company is exactly what your looking for SFX.
I do not know how much you're willing to pay for things.
But mehron paradise body makeup is amazing. Also so many colors to pick from. It's what I use and I think it's worth the price.
It's really expensive but it's skin illustrator. Amazing stuff. Also it doesn't come off with or work with water. It's an alcohol based paint.
Madeyewlook uses it in her vein and bruise tutorials if you want to see how it works and get more information on the palettes. She does a great job explaining it. But I don't remember the exact video she does it in. It's either her bruise, vein or zombie bite tutorial.

If you watch MadeULook by Lex on YouTube she does SFX tutorials basically and she has a lot of info on the products she uses plus she's on beautylish too.
