quick backstory - i work at express 1 night a week for the discount. i go right from my regular job during the day. one day i had horrible chipped red polish so i went to sephora to get nail polish remover wipes. the girl showed me a set of 20 polish remover wipes and 30 face wipes by josie maran. ive never used jm products but heard good things.
sooo those face wipes.. what a disappointment! they do not remove makeup barely at ALL! they do leave my face very soft and they smell good but that's it. my biore wipes (alcohol free!) remove my facial makeup pretty well and take my eye makeup off completely. the josie maran wipes will not make a dent in my eye makeup. it smears it around a bit but no amount of scrubbing takes it all off! and who wants to be scrubbing their eye like that?! i had to go back behind the wipes with a biore wipe to remove the rest of my makeup. the face makeup, i feel like the jm wipes kinda.. pushed it around, or something. it took some off, but again, not all of it.
these wipes are seriously disappointing! i will be using them up just in the morning to refresh my face (i only wash my face once a day, to remove makeup - in the morning i use a face wipe and a splash of water) and i won't be sad when they're gone.

Wow! I saw those the other day and almost bought them but I still have a pack of my target up & up brand ones. Glad I didn't buy out of impulse.

What a letdown :( I hope that's the only JM product that sucks because I wanted to try stuff from her brand. I swear by The Neutrogena makeup remover wipes- 1 wipe for the whole face and 1 wipe for my eye makeup, plus more if you use a lot of makeup. Do you like those wipes too?

Julianne I've never tried neutrogena ones.. The main reason I started buying biore is because they're alcohol free, and I've been doing a few new things w my skin, that included, and I'm loving how it looks!!:)

Alba wipes are probably really good:) well, do they take makeup off well/easily?
