Hey guys! I got my cartilage piercing may 10th and I was wondering when I can take it out and for how long?

After 6months for a day then put it back in. Then after a year you can keep them out longer

I got mine done Valentines day and took it out about 2 months later and it was fine so I'm sure your good. I starting sleeping without it 3 months later and it didnt close (:

I'd wait as long as possible, cartilage piercings have a tendency to close quickly, I still don't take my nose piercing, my tragus, or my helix out because even after a little while, they shrink up fairly quickly. 6 months is a great amount of time to wait to be sure you won't have any trouble.

Wait at least 4-6 months before changing it. and it depends on your body when/if you can take it out for a longer time
