ok, I have.. hmm.. medium thick hair? I guess?
SOO, I was wondering if anyone knew of any dyes that were nice to my lucious locks? I take pride in them :)
something gentle that works...
even semi permanent.
I'm not sure if I want to go darker or lighter, but either way I don't want anything drastic.
HELP!!!

I use a brand from Sally's to do my 14 year old kid's hair. It's Demi-permanent but does NOT wash out or fade at all so we consider it permanent. I have done his roots at least 5 times and it always turns out wonderful, and super soft and shiny.
It's called Color Gems. You choose the color and they have their own developer. My friend recommended that you use the same brand since they are made to go together. Color Gems has nice colors/variety. You also need Vaseline for your forehead and ears, gloves (buy them at the drugstore/pharmacy instead of Sally's) and the squirt bottle. Super simple directions. Mix, plop on, rub/comb through, let it sit, then shampoo. Oh, and we always get a conditioner pack too. They have a cheap effective Ion one. Good luck!!!

Don't ever ever ever ever ever ever use box dye from Walmart, Target, or drugstores. Go to your local beauty store. Something like Sally's. Then talk to one of the employees, they (sometimes) know what they're talking about.

It all really depends on the color you want and if your hair is virgin of not . More details?
