Anybody heard about it?

Anyway, I don't like it... but dunno why it has became a trend in Asia

Because it gives a youthful appearance. I definitely heard of it last year and it has already made its mark in other countries. It's not a bad look, really.

I heard something about a Korean trend where they pay for crooked teeth? Says it gives them a childish look? That disturbs me. That gradient lip isn't to bad though.

I actually really like that and often use it myself. A natural subtle lip when you don't want to go full on color.

I really love lip stains so I personally think this is nice if you want subtle lips but still have a little color in them.

I think thats cute lol.

Its kinda creepy :s lip tints are drying and its extremely disgusting to see dry chapped lips with weird red tint on the center.. Its like their lips are cracking and bleeding

I hate any korean makeup trends.. All of em are silly:x

It looks like she just ate a popsicle. Why go to all that fuss with makeup when having a snack accomplished the same thing?

I don't understand the trends of women trying to look like prepubescent girls. It goes beyond "cute" and into "pathological" with some of these trends. Why are some cultures trying to sexualize childish characteristics?

Bry, the snaggletooth trend is Japanese, it's called "yaeba" (lit. "double tooth"). I agree that it is bizarre.

I really like it. I don't know why people are being so hateful towards other countries trends. What we do here may be considered weird. Everyone has their own idea of beauty. I personally like most Korean makeup trends and how they do their makeup.

Ah, thank you Emily. I often wonder the same thing. It is quite bizarre... And we aren't being hateful, just... disturbed by these trends. All "beauty" trends in any country is odd to me. The western culture (more America than anyone else) seems like like implants. Men and women both. Calf implants, butt implants... Does silicone breakdown? because I often wonder if in hundreds of years from now, those who had implants, their bodies will be discovered and there will be blobs of silicone on their skeletons lol.

It just looks like lipbalm to me?

I love it! I'm a big fan of the current trend for makeup in Korea! I actually attempted to do this a couple days ago with a lip stain.
I do understand what you're saying, though, Emily. THAT can be a bit disturbing but so are some of our trends (Brazilian wax anyone?)

BREEZE I LOVE YOUR HAIR and I do Brazilian waxing as part of my job and I also am very disturbed by it sometimes lmao, the lips just look like a stain thats wearing off all cultures have there trends ,I'm sure some American trends are strange to other countries as well I don't see anything wrong with it

The lip stain trend and crooked teeth being childish is all subjective tbh
If anything, the Brazilian waxing is an actual specialization of childish characteristics. Not to mention a much more dangerous concept compared to lip stains and crooked teeth considering how its a breeding ground for infection

I do agree overall that the fetishization of child like qualities in women is creepy

Thank you for your comments girls...
