Use tape, practice, use a felt tip liner or a liner like They're real push up liner so you have more control.

Tape works well! I actually use a q-tip with makeup remover to sharpen the wing!

It will take practice but benefit recently came out with a new liner called the push up liner and I've heard that it makes applying winged liner easier. I use NYX's super skinny marker and it is a more affordable product that also makes it easier due to the small felt tip!

No way don't get the push up liner it's awful!! The maylelline master precise is the only one I use and it's far better. My biggest tip for winged liner is practice. At first, when I did mine, they would always be uneven and it was so annoying. Now, I get it perfect every time and I find it really Easy to just swipe on.

Bella K. That's so weird. I actually love it. It's the only thing that actually gives me sharp wings, even tape sometimes failed me. I also love the actual color and constancy of the product. I found it really smooth and extremely black. But some people hate it. My mom isn't a huge fan either. But everyone who hates it always has the same complaints so I wonder if it's how you applied it that made it not work. Well any way ulta has a kit that comes with a full size They're real Mascara and a mini push up liner for $24 if anyone is unsure and wants to give it a go before they commit.

Tape is always a good start! I personally start with the wing first and then connect it with the linder on your lid!
