Use a gel cleanser twice daily, and a gentle toner (alcohol-free).
Avoid any products with sulfates, chlorides and alcohols. They are too drying and harsh on skin and can make your breakouts worse.
I recommend Eileen Mai's Salicylic Acid gel cleanser...

Keep hair (and hands) off your face. Headbands and accessories should be washed regularly otherwise they can transfer (and rub) bacteria into your skin (causing more breakouts and/or irritation).
