HELP! Dark Lip Area from THREADING?

I get my lip area threaded and the area is a bit yellower than the rest of my face (I have light-medium skin tone, NC-40 or C4 in MAC)

Can anyone help me fix the darkened area? I head vitamin C helps so I was thinking maybe using vitamin C products from the body shop?

Open to suggestions! Thank you!
