The back of the bottles of body wash and stuff should have a little bunny symbol on the back meaning it was cruelty free. :) Typically, no bunny = animal cruelty but some brands are very humane and just don't advertise it. Google is a great help to know which brands do / don't and pretty quickly you'll remember which brands to avoid and which are awesome :)

Lush for shower and bath stuff is great. All superdrug own brand stuff is brav approved. My beauty bunny the blog lists up to date info on cruelty free brands for make up as well. Good luck xxxxx

There's a site called nottested.co.uk (I think) which lists all different brands and where they sit on the cruelty free spectrum (which companies are owned by who etc) - hope this helps!

NYX and not NYC
Elf
Tarte
Bourjois (not sure about it)
I always purchase cruelty free makeup no matter how much sacrifice I have to make of some tempting products :)

Nyx was bought out by loreal, they are no longer cruelty free because of loreal being their parent brand.
Tarte was also bought out by a company that tests on animals. And any company that ships to china is not fully cruelty free since china requires animal testing. Sephora ships to china so they are not completely cruelty free nor is any company that sells in them. They don't test on animals anywhere else, but they do in china.
