How can I style combat boots and shorts?

I like to put tights under the shorts and then combat boots. or you could do a longer sock and have it show

You could use tights or leggings but I prefer to use long socks and let them show unless they are ripped leggings or combat boots that end near the ankle or a little above.

I used to wear combat boots and shorts years ago, many many years ago, assuming they are black boots, I used to wear black socks with them, short cutoffs, and a black tank top, with a camo army jacket over it with the sleeves cut off. lol. but that was back in the 90's.

Well I've never worn combat boots with shorts but my friend has and she paired black shorts with a black sequenced tank with a lite washed jean jacket and her black combat boots it looked Really Cute! :)
